National VT Wage and Compensation Survey
National VT Wage and Compensation Survey
VTACC is committed to advancing and supporting our members across Canada through collaboration and data-driven initiatives. In 2026, VTACC engaged an independent third party to conduct a National VT Wage and Compensation Survey to better understand compensation, workplace trends, and the evolving needs of the profession.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening advocacy efforts, supporting workforce development, and ensuring that the perspectives of veterinary technologists and technicians are clearly reflected in future planning and decision-making.
The survey is now closed, and results are currently being analyzed. Findings will be used to help inform future initiatives and support continued progress for the profession across Canada.

On June 26, 2026 members of the VTACC met with the Canadian Council of Veterinary Registrars during their visit to the CVMA Conference that was held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
On May 27, 2026 members of the VTACC met with the Canadian Council of Veterinary Registrars' Chair, Dr. Megan Bergman and board member, Dr. Greg Parks.
